Mount Pisgah BC presented the Black History Program on 29 Feb 2012, and if you were not there, you missed a beautiful program. Our children and youth leaders did a great job.

There were quotations of great individuals from the past, such as Arthur Ashe, Booker T. Washington, Satchel Paige, and more! The program also included:

• Solo by Sister Valeria Kenner ~ After this solo by this sister, the church was truly BLESSED! Allowing the children of today, hear the old hymns of yesteryear!
• Come Down Jesus, Come Down - performed by a very Gifted brother - Brother Anthony Walls
• We Shall Over Come - A talk to our church by Sister Belinda Green & Youth
• And Finally, a reality check by Brother Vic Joyner - Youth Director, of the Mount Pisgah BC (Never forget/and Be want you want to be, because you are Free)

 At Mount Pisgah, we do our church plays in the name of Jesus. So, come out and enjoy!

Our 2012 BLACK HISTORY Program

This year’s Black History Program was written, produced and directed by a very special and gifted person,  Sister Angela Lemmons!

Adult & Youth Bible Study /MPBC Computer Lab / Classesc

Computer Lab Classes / Our Computer Lab Schedule:

The church computer lab is open to our members and to the community of Jacksonville, every Wednesday Evening (5-7 PM).  Come and do your studies, and we'll have a support team that will assist you on your homework, whether it be English, Math, College Math, or Research for a Class Assignment.

NOTE: If you have a special assignment that your working on, contact us early ~ and we can be there to provide clear directions and guidance. If you want to learn Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, or Basic Computer skills, please contact Dea. Ron Jones. We have self-taught lessons that you can take. Even if you want to learn how to type, we can help. Need help constructing a work resume for a Job Interview? We can help there too.

Bible study sessions are being offered:

There are two sessions on Wednesday evenings, one in the main sanctuary for the adults, and the other in the Thomas Johnson Media Center for the Youth up to seniors in high school.

Wednesday Evening Service

Once a month, Pastor Collier transforms the Wednesday Night Bible Study into an Evening of Praise and Worship, along with the Word. His Associates Ministers are assigned to delivers the Word of God. Please check our calendar for the dates.

Women’s Enrichment Ministry
